IGT was honored for its leadership in cross-platform content and technology by winning the "Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year" designation in the 2022 International Gaming Awards. The annual awards program recognizes leading iGaming and land-based casino suppliers and operators from around the world and is judged by a panel of gaming industry professionals.

IGT Named Casino Supplier of the Year at 2022 Global Gaming Awards London

IGT won the Casino Supplier of the Year at the 2022 Global Gaming Awards London for the second consecutive year. The annual EMEA-focused awards program recognizes the gaming industry's strongest performers across the previous 12 months. Winners were selected by a panel of 60 gaming industry executives.

In February, IGT won two global awards for service excellence from Contact Center World, the world's largest contact center association. The Help Desk Award celebrated IGT's world-class team of over 150 people supporting lottery and gaming customers in various jurisdictions through the Company's National Response Center. In addition, Cristina Merches, coordinator, workforce planning, was named Best Contact Center Support Professional.

IGT Designated "Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality" by Human Rights Campaign Foundation

In January, the Company announced that it had received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation's 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), earning the coveted "Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality" designation. The nation's leading benchmarking survey for LGBTQ+ equality in the workplace, the CEI evaluates corporate policies and practices to measure an employer's commitment to workplace equality. 

IGT's Gil Rotem Named one of GGB Magazine's People to Watch 

In January, Global Gaming Business (GGB) Magazine named IGT iGaming President Gil Rotem among its 25 People to Watch for 2022, ranking the veteran digital gaming leader among a select group driving growth in the gaming industry. Rotem was cited for his 20 years' experience in the European iGaming market and his ongoing commitment to creating engaging player experiences.

Joe Asher Inducted into Sports Betting Hall of Fame

IGT’s President of Sports Betting, Joe Asher, was also honored at the trade show with induction into the Sports Betting Hall of Fame. SBC created the Sports Betting Hall of Fame in 2016, to recognize individuals who have contributed to the industry over the course of their careers with a lasting legacy.

Scott Gunn Inducted into Lottery Industry Hall of Fame

IGT’s Global Technology Solutions Support Organization Reaffirms CMMI® Level 3 Rating
IGT announced that it has been appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development (CMMI®-DEV), version 1.3 for IGT’s Global Technology Lotteries Support organization. While IGT received its initial maturity Level 3 rating in 2004, this latest appraisal confirms IGT’s continued commitment to following established industry best practices while providing high quality software solutions and services.  CMMI® Level 3 rating is highly coveted due to its rigorous assessment of a vendor’s software and systems engineering, program management, and organizational process management capabilities.

IGT Senior Vice President, North America, Jay Gendron Inducted Into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame
Jay Gendron, the Company’s Senior Vice President, North America, was inducted into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2015. The National Response Center (NRC) made its fifth appearance at ContactCenterWorld’s annual Best in Americas awards in Orlando, Florida in June. IGT received top honors in two categories: Best Technology Innovation, Internal Solution, and Best Contact Center Trainer, which was awarded to Anthony Andrade, Senior Training Manager.

IGT Receives WLA’s First CSR Certification for Vendors
IGT received the World Lottery Association’s (WLA) first CSR certification for vendors; released its eighth annual Sustainability Report; participated in the National Council on Problem Gambling’s annual conference; and joined the American Gaming Association’s new CSR committee.

Italian Legal Team Named “Legal Department of the Year"
In recognition of the legal work done as part of the acquisition of legacy IGT, IGT’s Italian legal team was named “Legal Department of the Year” at the fourth annual Le Fonti International Awards ceremony, held on June 11, in Milan. Sylvia Dietz, Vice President of Global Marketing, Gaming, was awarded the Industry Achiever of the Year award at The Women in Gaming Awards. This award is given to the most influential woman in the industry who has made a significant contribution to the success of her organization, has shown dedication and commitment, and has influenced the development of the gaming industry.

IGT has retained its Lottery Software Supplier of the Year title at the prestigious eGaming Review B2B Awards. The Company was rewarded for its market-leading Interactive offering, which includes a complete suite of solutions, services, and professional expertise that allows operators to engage their players on any Interactive channel.

IGT Receives 13 Telly Awards For Outstanding Video Production
International Game Technology PLC took home 13 awards at the 36th annual Telly Awards, including three of the competition’s top honors, the Silver Telly. The awards honor excellence in video production in television commercials, videos, films, Web commercials and more. IGT was honored for several video projects promoting the company’s casino products including James Cameron’s Avatar Treasures of Pandora, the CrystalCore cabinet and the S3000 cabinet, all of which received the Silver Telly Award in respective categories of business-to-business, directing and use of branding.

IGT Reno Awarded Gold LEED Certification 
IGT Reno earned a LEED Gold certification. LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is a green building rating system that addresses the impacts of a building’s lifecycle on the environment, which is based on conserving energy and water, providing resources for healthier and safer occupants, all while lowering operational costs. The Reno facility is projected to save approximately $1.5 million over the next 10 years by maintaining LEED standards.

Connie Laverty O’Connor was recently honored at Providence Business News’ (PBN) eighth Business Women Awards Luncheon on May 29. PBN created this award to recognize outstanding female business leaders in Rhode Island, with top honors for Career Achievement and Outstanding Mentor. 

SPHINX 3D Game Wins “Best in Show”
IGT’s SPHINX 3D™ game won first place at the Southern Gaming Summit in Biloxi, Mississippi. BEJEWELED™ 3D Wins First Place In CEM Award
IGT’s BEJEWELED 3D won first place in Casino Enterprise Management (CEM) Magazine’s 9th Annual Slot Floor Technology Awards. IGT also won second place for the S3000 cabinet. The CEM awards were in conjunction with the Indian Gaming Convention and Tradeshow in San Diego, California. A panel of industry leaders voted to crown the Top 10 Slot Floor Products of 2015.
