The most recent issue of La Fleur’s magazine discusses how lotteries are using RMI data and insights to boost sales with existing lottery retailers, expand lottery’s footprint, and improve the prospect list.
When one of the leading U.S. grocery chains engaged in a concentrated effort across regions to improve its lottery sales, it was essential for the retailer to have data to compare their lottery sales “apples to apples” in all jurisdictions where they do business.
Armed with this information, the retailer looked at how states were performing in comparison to one another, closed gaps, established benchmarks, and expanded leading practices to more states.
The Retail Market Insights® (RMI) database, developed and maintained by IGT, provided that single, chain-wide view and is available to all U.S. lotteries that choose to participate.
